Well, I had to change the headline of my blog because of the fact that I have now turned 45 years of age.  45 was hard.  I feel like I might as well be 50!  Anyway, I wanted to share with you some fun things I did for my birthday.

First of all, I went to see a matinee showing of "Julie & Julia".  It was cute.  One thing is for sure - you don't want to see it on an empty stomach.  They make the food look so good!!

My favorite part about it was seeing it with my mom.  We don't get to do things like that often.  It was a great way to start my birthday.  Another fun part was that I decided to go off my diet
for that day so I got movie theater popcorn with lots of butter.  It was dee-lish!!!
I thought I was going to be alone the rest of the day but as soon as Tayler caught wind of that she would have nothing to do with it so we went to the store, got a bunch of junk food, met Jarom at my house, worked a jigsaw puzzle, and ate junk.  WOO HOO!  I loved it!  I am so grateful for Tayler and Jarom.  They saved my day.  They are so wonderful!
I am a lucky lady:):)

After Tayler and Jarom left I got a surprise visit from Jackie.  She came over with a dozen red roses and a piece of red velvet cake (that is my favorite cake :0).  We had a GREAT time visiting, watching game shows on TV,
and working the jigsaw puzzle until 1:30am.
She is such a great, sweet, thoughtful friend.  I love her so much!  Because of schedule problems we rarely get to spend time together anymore.  Just spending quality, fun time with her was enough of a birthday gift for me.

Just when you think my birthday celebration should be over Kacy surprised me the following Saturday and took me to Sea World!!
She knew I had been wanting to go there for soooooo long.  It was a blast!!!  It wasn't even that hot.  Every show gets you so wet and there was a breeze so the heat was not a problem.  I loved seeing all of the shows.  Especially the pet show.  It was adorable!!   That was so sweet of Kacy to do.  I will never forget that day.  We went with her 6 year old son Josiah.  It was so much fun watching him have fun.

He is such a nice, loving, sweet boy.  I want to adopt him but Kacy won't let me.

Speaking of nice, sweet, and loving ... Kacy is all of that and more.  Once again, I am a lucky lady.  I want to go again.  I will be able to because when you go to Sea World they give you a pass to go anytime the rest of the year!  I am so excited about that.  My caregiver gets in for free too.  Anyone interested?! I went off my diet that day too.
YUM!  I felt pretty guilty though. :/

Have I mentioned I am a lucky lady??!!!  Thank you again to Mom, Tayler, Jarom, Jackie & Kacy for making my birthday so unforgettable.  I am forever grateful!!  (I only gained 1 pound too)

Now I have to backtrack a little.  Some of you may not know this about me but I am a jigsaw puzzle freak!!  I LOVE doing them so much!  The other day I was sitting in my house with Tayler and I mentioned how bummed I was that I didn't have a table at my house to do a puzzle on.  I knew I would be alone the rest of the day that day and I was itching to do a puzzle.  Well, Tayler was done with her shift at my house and left.  The next thing I know she returned about 15 minutes later with a card table to do my puzzles on.  She had gone to Jackie's house to get a card table and brought it to me.  WHAT A DOLL SHE IS!!  Needless to say, I went crazy with puzzles after that.  I ended up having to put the card table away because I will only do a brand of puzzles called Springbok and each one is about $15 so I put the table away before I went broke.  Here are some pics of the puzzles I did... just humor me:)
